Hello, everyone! I’m Mari from Arcadian Home blog, a wonderful online place to find lots of interior design inspiration including wall art, mirrors and a fabulous array of lighting ideas from foyer lights to torchiere lamps. I’m so happy to be visiting with you here at Silk Interiors to share a guest post about beautiful and interesting walls.

To inspire your decorating dreams, I’ve pulled together images of some of my favorite wall ideas. Gold wallcovering, bricks, woods, an art collection, murals and more–I’m sure you’ll find at least one wonderful wall to love. Please enjoy!

When a great exposed brick wall needs even more visual appeal, a wall gallery of favorite photos might be a wonderful option as it is here in an eclectic bedroom. What an interesting modern pendant light above the wooden trunk turned bedside table!

Large wall murals are becoming more readily available and quite affordable for just about any budget. Here a feline companion has been captured in an appealing pose.

The stunning organic pattern of washed wood flows across the floor and up onto the partitioning wall in this sleek living room. Modern pendant lighting, white floor lamp, Eames rocker and colorful shaggy pouf make the design even more interesting.
